For the past 13 years, Alexa has been a registered nurse specializing in emergency trauma medicine. In 2020, She contracted work in NYC at the height of the pandemic. During this time, She discovered the benefits of using vitamin therapy to maintain optimum health in herself and critically ill patients while working in Elmhurst's Emergency Care Center. While implementing both western and functional medicine into one, she was able to nurse critically ill covid patients back to health and continue her contract as an essential first responder overseas.

After a year of traveling as a first responder domestically and internationally for COVID, it was time for change! After experiencing the overall impact COVID caused on our mental health, confidence, and physical appearance, Alexa took action. She enrolled in a skincare and electrolysis diploma program to serve her community as an Aesthetic Nurse. While in school to diversify her background in aesthetics, she invested in apparel. With fitness and wellness being a part of her everyday life, a women's athlesiure line was branded: Fine Fit Athletica. Fine Fit Athletica is a Brand for every woman and every curve, designed to inspire self-love and confidence. Two years later, after specializing in skin care and motivating women through athleisure apparel to embrace the Fine & Fit Mindset; Still, physically, mentally, emotionally it seemed no one, including herself, was the same.

In 2022, Alexa experienced Hormonal Acne and unexplained hair loss. After seeing multiple dermatologists, all offered to treat the symptoms with antibiotics etc, but not one told her WHY. Remembering her integrative approach to nursing during the pandemic, she saw a functional medicine doctor and was diagnosed with a nutrient deficiency.
After discovering the root cause she had the solution.

As a person who understood her purpose to serve very early on in life, Alexa integrated her education, clinical experience, and her functional medicine practices. She opened Fine Fit Medspa and Wellness. She's partnered with Dr. George Herrera MD and Cristina Arroyo to bring you a root cause approach to your aesthetic and wellness goals.
